How Pusoy Works at 888ji

Pusoy – also known as Chinese Poker in international circles – is a four-player card game where each player is dealt 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck. Your job is to arrange those 13 cards into three separate hands:

  • Back Hand (5 cards) – Your strongest combination, placed at the back.
  • Middle Hand (5 cards) – A medium-strength hand, must be weaker than the back.
  • Front Hand (3 cards) – Your weakest three cards, placed at the front.

Each of your three hands is compared against the corresponding hand of every other player at the table. Win all three hands against an opponent and you score a "scoop" – the highest single-round payout available. The strategy is in knowing when to sacrifice your middle hand to guarantee wins on the back and front, or when to go all-in on a monster back hand.
